After visiting the main area of Zion National Park, we followed the advice of a ranger in the backcountry office and headed out on the western road towards Kolob Reservoir. This stretch of road was the most scenic, or at least our favorite scenic road in all of North America. Yea, that’s saying a lot. Unfortunately, we didn’t take a lot of photos along the road. But I hope you enjoy these photos and the ones of the scenery further north near Brian Head.

Love the backlit bird pic!
Brian Head peak. Does that bring back memories. The source of Jay’s Love of Mountain Biking when he was about 12. We shuttled up to the edge of the peak, and then hike and biked up and over. Then 14 miles of downhill riding to Panquich Lake. A mile wide grin and laughs all the way. After that we were all hooked!
This time the 12 miles of down hill only took about 45 minuites to ride, but the grin at the end was much the same.
Wow, just wow!!!!
Absolutely fabulous!
Thanks everyone for the positive feedback.
