The week in review post has taken me extra time to write because it has been such an incredibly busy week. It started Thursday evening as we headed down to Sedona for the Suburu IMBA Trail Care Crew’s Club Care presentation. Jay headed back down Friday morning for the Land Manager Training. Saturday we were back again for the trail building workshop and trail work. Finally Sunday we made yet another trip down to the desert for a group ride.
Monday was our roommate Kathy’s birthday and the day that Jay left for a week long volunteer trip to Toroweap with the Grand Canyon National Park vegetation program. Monday was also the day that entries were due for the Small Wonders Art Show at the Artists Gallery here in town. I entered three photographs. Monday evening I went biking at the fairgrounds. In the midst of everything I was also doing a bit of wedding planning. Whew. Spring has sprung and we are moving quickly these days.
Volunteering: Sharon and Jay attended training and volunteered building trail with the Suburu IMBA trail care crew in Sedona (16 hours combined).
Beer of the Week: New Belgium’s Fat Tire, Fat Tire goes in and out of favor with us, but it’s back in our fridge at the moment.
Something New: The highlight of our week was meeting Jake and Jenny, the current Suburu IMBA Trail Care Crew
Highlight of Being in One Place: Being able to enter a juried art show!
