White Sands National Monument

The scene at White Sands National Monument

In mid February, between two nights of camping in New Mexico’s State Parks, Jay and I visited one of the most magical landscapes in the country, the White Sands National Monument in Alamogorado, New Mexico.

A little sandier for the wear.. but happy and whole

Special shout out to Sharon’s cousin Peter who gave us the National Park Pass that has opened up all of this magical places to us!

  1. Loved seeing these pictures as it looked like snow. And interesting Jay would find snow under the sand. I will never see things like this so am especially enjoying your adventure.
